Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Croatian Act on the Implementation of the GDPR.

2. What data we collect and why

We only collect personal data that you actively provide, plus limited technical data needed to keep the site secure:

• Contact form data — the name, email address and message you submit. We use this solely to read and respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and taking steps at your request prior to any agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA) — to protect the form from automated abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA, which processes your IP address and browser/device information. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Server logs — our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data (e.g. IP address, request time) for security and to operate the server.

We do not use analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. It is only shared with service providers that help us run the site:

• Our hosting and email provider, which stores the site and delivers contact-form messages to us.
• Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), as the provider of reCAPTCHA. This may involve transferring data to the United States; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

4. How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period, after which they are deleted. Server logs are retained for a limited period by our hosting provider.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@optera.ai.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian supervisory authority: Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.

6. Providing your data

Providing your data through the contact form is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond to your enquiry.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the “last updated” date above.
